OSLO

Oslo provides the gateway to the land of ‘midnight sun’, a place to experience the most out of the world events. It is the capital city of Norway and rests in the heart of the Scandinavian terrain. The surroundings of oceans, curves of fjords, frozen winds from the North hemisphere collectively give this city a heavenly atmosphere. The city developed rapidly in the past few decades and the infrastructure today has enough provisions for accommodations to welcome in the globetrotters.
Oslo has surged ahead, leaving behind its environmental and other shortcomings to become a melting pot of cultural activities. During summertime, tourists get over 18 hours of daylight to move around but the scenario takes a reverse turn on winters. Different forms of music, art, culture add sparkle and colour to the city life that one can’t afford to miss. Stay at any one of the luxury hotels or reasonable bed and breakfasts to get a fair share of all the entertainment facilities available in Oslo.

The Royal Castle

Oslo is home to the political, social and financial activities of Norway. The city houses the Norwegian parliament and other important embassies and administrative buildings. In recent past it has also emerged as one of the most important cities of Europe and hosted quite a few international seminars and events. With a flourishing economy that is evident from the lifestyles of the humble Norwegians, you can manage a glimpse of it personally if you take one of the plush apartments for rent. The youth travellers are specially attracted with abundance of sport activities by the hill slopes or by the banks of 343 lakes of Oslo. They prefer to stay in the more affordable but well-equipped hostels. Oslo is the perfect big city experience with a pulsating nightlife, world famous museums and attractions, great shopping and high class cuisine.
